Take off is a single release by 2PM containing the 1st ending theme of the Blue Exorcist anime series. It was released in 4 editions: a Limited Edition with a music video DVD, a Limited Edition with a 32-page photobook, an Anime Edition with a Blue Exorcist-themed digipak, and a Regular Edition. Production of the Anime Edition of the single ran until June 2011 only.

The Anime Edition includes the TV size version of Take off, the shorter version of the song that was used in the ending credits video for the first part of the First Season.

The TV size version of Take off was also later included in BLUE EXORCIST ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK 2 as track #18.

  • Take off was 2PM's debut single into the Japan music market and the group's first fully Japanese-language release.
  • Take off was released as a digital single on popular Japanese music download site Recochoku on April 17, 2011 prior to this physical single release, coinciding with the debut of the Blue Exorcist anime.
  • Take off was later included in 2PM's first Japanese album entitled REPUBLIC OF 2PM as track #8.
