Tadashi Misumi (三角正 Misumi Tadashi) is a monk living at the Southern Cross Boys' Monastery.

Appearance

Tadashi is a portly man with a balding head of advanced years. He wears the typical cassock of a priest.

Personality

History

Tadashi, despite being qualified physician and a leading figure in Genomic Drug Research at True Cross University, took a position as a security guard at the Eastern Gate of True Cross Academy. He held this position for some twenty-two years before changing careers to become a monk at Southern Cross Boys' Monastery for a further sixteen years.[1]

Synopsis

Lewin Light and Ryuji Suguro arrive at Southern Cross Boys' Monastery to continue their investigation into the Illuminati. There Lewin interrogates and threatens Tadashi. After Ryuji stops Lewin's torturing of Tadashi, the monk decides to confess, but before Tadashi can finish, Death appears and kills him. Inspecting the corpse, Lewin discovers a Morinas Contract on the back of Tadashi's neck and, even though he did not get a full confession, thanks the deceased monk.[2]

Trivia

  • While not formally introduced until Chapter 83, Tadashi appears to be seen eating with the other residents of the Southern Cross Monastery in Chapter 1.[3]
  • In the anime, Naoya Kyodo is the oldest priest at the monastery, Tadashi seems to be his elder, easily by at least a decade if not more.
