A Greenman is a Demon that is usually friendly and docile.

Early on the series, the only Greenman to be seen was Nii-chan . Later on in the anime, various Greenmans were seen in Shiemi's garden, as well as a few other plant-based creatures. While Professor Neuhaus carried his wife away, the Greenmans created a barrier/cocoon to shield them both from gunfire.

Nii-chan Edit

Nii-chan is Shiemi Moriyama's Familiar that she summons during the demonstration after Izumo Kamiki summoned two spirit foxes. It is a baby Greenman that takes a liking to Shiemi often sitting on top of her head. Nii-chan aids Shiemi by producing plants from its body such as aloe and sprouts tree branches as barriers. Nii-chan appears protective of Shiemi as he shields her from the falling debris during a mission in the amusement park with tree barriers. Possibly because it's still an infant, it does not think of Shiemi or the humans as a threat. It speaks by saying the phrase "Nii!"

Powers and AbilitiesEdit

A Greenman has the ability to grow plants of any sort from their body. This can be very useful in offensive techniques as well as defensive ones. Greenmans have demonstrated to be able to create a cocoon of branches in order to protect someone. They can also grow healing plants out of their bodies, which can be useful at a crucial time.
