The Story So Far[]
Rin Okumura is the illegitimate child of Satan and has inherited his father's power. One day, Satan attempts to drag Rin down to Gehenna—the realm of demons. During the battle, Rin draws the Koma Sword, which he received from Father Fujimoto. The sword awakens Rin's demonic nature and he escapes from danger, but Father Fujimoto dies protecting him. Frustrated by his powerlessness, Rin decides to become an Exorcist so he can someday defeat Satan!![2]

- Born of a human mother and Satan, the God of Demons. He has powers he can barely control and uses a blue flame and the Koma sword to fight. Now a first-year student at True Cross Academy and Page at the Exorcism Cram School, Rin hopes to one day become an Exorcist and defeat Satan.
- Rin's brother who wants to become a doctor. A student at True Cross Academy, but he also teaches Demon Pharmaceuticals to the Pages at the Exorcism Cram School. He is determined to protect Rin the way Father Fujimoto once did.
- Daughter of the owner of Futsumaya, an exorcist supply shop. Rin and Yukio helped her out when a demon was parasitically feeding on her. She began attending the Exorcism Cram School in order to become a stronger person.
- The man who raised Rin and Yukio. He was a priest at True Cross Church, but Satan possessed him and he gave his life defending Rin.
- President at True Cross Academy and head of the Exorcism Cram School. He was Fujimoto's friend and now he is Rin and Yukio's guardian.

Major Events[]
- Rin and Ryuji's rivalry begins and they realise they share the same ambition; to defeat Satan. A Reaper attacks Ryuji, only for him to be saved by Rin.
- Shiemi attempts to befriend Izumo and Paku, she also learns she is capable of summoning a juvenile Greenman, whom she calls Nee.
- Izumo is revealed to also have Tamer abilities, being capable of summoning a pair of Byakko called Uke and Mike.
- The Pages arrive at the dorm to begin training for their Exwire authorisation exam.
- Paku confides to Izumo that she intends to drop out of the cram school, and is promptly attacked by a Naberius (sent by Neuhaus). Due to Paku's words Izumo doubts herself and can't fight, instead Rin appears to fight the demon while Shiemi uses Nee to treat Paku's wounds.
- Izumo and Ryuji get into a fight in class, resulting in all the students suffering a collective Bariyon punishment. In the middle of this the lights go out and they are attacked by another Naberius. The students survive and defeat the Naberius', Mephisto and several Exorcists then reveal themselves and announce that they just completed the Exwire exam.
- Neuhaus tries, and fails, to kill Rin. Mephisto arranges for Amaimon to come and test Rin in a similar way.
- Mephisto reveals that all of the Pages passed and have been promoted to Exwire.
