The Dismissal Notification is a letter produced by the True Cross Order informing the recipient of the immediate termination of their post. One was entrusted to Yukio Okumura to be delivered to Komatarou, the Old Archives' Guard.[1] Despite being a letter contained inside a plain envelope, the notification appears to be a surprisingly sturdy piece of stationary, the contents of the envelope surviving an explosion unharmed while the envelope was mostly burned away.[2]
